The Client

Millennium Care is a family-owned independent care provider with six care homes across Lancashire.

What did they want?

Lavender Hills differed from the company's other homes in that it had a higher percentage of private fee paying residents. The Management team were keen to build on this and further boost private occupancy by marketing specifically towards that audience. 

What did we do?

We put an integrated communications strategy in place which involved a new home-specific website, a dedicated twitter account, pay-per-click advertising and a positive PR programme. We focused on life at Lavender Hills, the luxury elements of the home and the home's beautiful location on the outskirts of historic Ramsbottom.

Results

Thanks to the targeted communications programme we put in place, the home was inundated with enquiries and not only was it full in a short space of time, but a waiting list was created, which supported the subsequent opening of the new 'Porritt Unit'.

Since we have begun working with GD PR & Media, they have exceeded our expectations of customer relationship management throughout our website build. For this reason we have continued to engage them in wider business marketing and PR activities. This includes full management of our digital marketing platforms including an active and popular twitter feed.
